I set this blog up so that I could post pictures and updates for everyone back home. I set out on my Nepal adventure in just 2 days! I'm a little nervous but for the most part looking forward to this trip. I'll be staying in Kathmandu for only a few days before taking a 3 hour bus ride out to Pokhara, where my clinic is located. I'll let you know what it's like when I get there, but for now, here are some pictures I found:

I am so excited you have this blog so I can stalk you on your trip and pretend I'm doing everything you are. This is going to be such a great trip and I can't wait to hear all about it. Good luck getting there and getting settled in. I love you sissy!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Daughter, We just had chicken marsala for Dad's Father's day dinner. He was the chef with me as assistant! Yummy! (However, I like chiken piccata better, don't tell dad!)By the way, Steph just informed me that she "might be dating someone soon" I asked who the lucky guy might be and she said, Doug! I knew you would get a kick out of that. Call us soon. Also, have you found an LDS chapel or meetinghouse there yet? Steven Jensen's mom said she had friends that just returned from a mission in Nepal and loved it. Let me know. She said to tell you hi and she is so excited for you and this great opportunity.
ReplyDeleteLove you, Mom P.S. Kaitlyn says hi and she misses you. Derek says, "You're the best sister ever and I can't wait for you to get home and how is it in Nepal and I love you!"
